This woman is a boss y’all. This documentary is so good! Get out there and learn about champion for women’s rights, Ruth Bader Ginsburg (a.k.a. The Dissenter, Notorious RBG). My husband left the movie thinking, “If RBG can work until 4:00 AM, I certainly better get back to work on a Friday.” I left thinking, “I hope I can still work out an hour every day when I’m 85 years old.” [Wikipedia] [IMdb]
Rockin’ Green Platinum Series Active Wear Detergent.
This detergent is marketed towards athletes as a “super cleaner” of active wear (e.g., DriFit). I’ve used it as detergent a couple times, but it really stood out this week when I had to handwash a dress. I soaked the dress in a bowl of water with a tablespoon of Rockin’ Green and its “broad spectrum enzyme blend” went to work and removed all hints of dirt. Painted Garden Rocks.
How cute is this painted rock for the garden? My friend Katie is a talented artist and my sister has a garden…so I commissioned these rocks from my friend to give Kerri as a birthday gift! I thought I was ordering river rocks (about the size of my palm). No. The description says 20 lbs of 3-5 inch rocks but Katie told me two boxes of at least 40 lbs of rocks were sent to her house and the rocks were closer to 5-8 inches. Anyway. Katie worked with what she had and my husband carried 30 pounds of rocks through two airports so they are the true heroes. I love the whole set!

Girls on the Run 5k.
Girls on the run is an after school program designed to help 3rd-5th grade girls feel confident in who they are, create positive connections with their peers and adults, develop positive self-talk, and encourage compassion for others in their community. In addition, the girls set running goals each day and work towards the season-culminating 5k. It’s an encouraging and inspiring event, especially for those girls who have never or could never imagine themselves finishing a 5k! [GOTR Puget Sound]
